Networking Technician

Join Plexus Tech. We are looking for a Network Engineer with experience in the deployment and implementation of network infrastructures, especially in hospitality sector environments.

The selected candidate will participate in projects involving the design, configuration, deployment, and commissioning of WiFi and LAN networks in hotels and resorts, both in Spain and internationally. The role requires a strong technical background in networking, WiFi, firewalling, and switching, as well as experience in real field deployments and troubleshooting in production environments.

Projects are carried out in Spain, Europe, and the Caribbean, so a high availability to travel is required (approximately 25–30 weeks per year, not consecutive). When travel is not required, remote work is possible.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Deployment of enterprise WiFi networks.
• Configuration and commissioning of LAN and switching infrastructures.
• Installation, configuration, and optimization of WiFi networks in high-density environments.
• Configuration of WiFi controllers and access points.
• Integration of network infrastructures with services such as:
• IPTV
• VoIP
• CCTV
• Hotspot
• Configuration and troubleshooting of firewalls and network segmentation.
• Technical validation of installations and issue resolution.
• Participation in performance testing and network optimization.
• Preparation of technical documentation and validation of deployments.
• Proven experience in deployment and configuration of enterprise WiFi networks.
• Experience in configuration and management of switching and networking.
• Experience working with WiFi vendors such as:
• Huawei
• Aruba
• Ruckus
• Cisco
• Omada
• Ubiquiti
• Ekahau
• Experience in firewall configuration (especially Mikrotik and Fortinet).
• Strong knowledge of IP networks, VLANs, routing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in implementation and commissioning of network infrastructures.
• Upper-intermediate level of English.
• Full availability to travel nationally and internationally.
