Security Architect

Join Plexus Tech. We are looking for a Security Architect to define and ensure secure architectures in hybrid and cloud environments, aligned with business needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in security architecture or design.
• STEM background (Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or similar).
• Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, etc. – desirable) or architecture certifications (SABSA, TOGAF).
• Design of secure architectures in on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Knowledge of perimeter security, IAM, networks, and segmentation.
• Familiarity with standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, Zero Trust).
• Risk management and threat analysis.
• Security in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Define security architectures aligned with technical and regulatory requirements.
• Perform risk analysis and threat modeling.
• Advise projects from the design phase.
• Review and validate technical solutions from a security perspective.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure architectures.
• Establish requirements for secure architectures in application deployment (on-premise and cloud) and third-party integrations.
• Design, develop, and implement security architectures aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives.
• Identify, assess, and manage information security risks, proposing innovative and feasible solutions.
• Oversee the implementation of security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, IAM platforms, and advanced encryption mechanisms.
• Ensure the application of security controls, including authentication, authorization, and access control, guaranteeing effectiveness and compliance.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications meet security standards from the outset.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new cybersecurity technologies and trends, contributing to continuous improvement.
