Solutions Architect

Join Plexus Tech. We are looking for a Solutions Architect specialized in Data, AI, and event processing environments: a hybrid profile between an MLOps Engineer, DevOps Engineer, and Data Engineer.

The role will be responsible for translating business needs into robust, scalable architectures aligned with corporate standards, ensuring technical quality and long-term sustainability. You will work alongside development, product, and enterprise architecture teams, ensuring solutions comply with technical, regulatory, and security principles typical of the financial sector.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience as a Solutions Architect, Software Architect, or a senior developer evolved into an architectural role.
• Experience in designing or developing complex enterprise applications, preferably in the banking sector.
• Participation in technology transformation or platform modernization programs is a plus.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure.
• Containers and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
• CI/CD, repositories, and artifact management: Jenkins, Bitbucket.
• Data architecture: Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Lakehouse (Snowflake).
• Integration and processing: Kafka/AMQ/MSK, batch/streaming pipelines, ingestion optimization.
• Governance and compliance: lineage, cataloging, classification, GDPR/LOPD.
• Observability: logs, metrics, distributed tracing (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
• Supervised, unsupervised, and time-series models.
• Batch/streaming scoring architectures integrated via APIs or events.
• MLOps: CI/CD/CT, versioning, monitoring, and drift detection.
• GenAI: RAG, embeddings, vector DBs, secure prompt management.
• Model risk, explainability (XAI), and regulatory compliance.
• Design end-to-end solution architectures based on best practices, design patterns, and enterprise architecture principles, focused on data, analytics, and batch/streaming flows.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and UML/Archimate diagrams required by corporate standards.
• Ensure compliance with architecture principles, security, performance, resilience, and scalability.
• Define and govern the use of REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures (EDA), batch/streaming pipelines, and data models.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and business teams to ensure proper solution implementation.
• Participate in technical committees and design reviews.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, BIAN).
• Evaluate technological components and propose alternatives for new projects or transformations.
• Contribute to the standardization of architecture patterns and best practices.
